| Neal Burns |
![]() Neal has been a Rambler for nearly 47 years. He’s goes by “Neal” to most, but to the Ramblers, it’s “Gramps”, “Old Fart”, or “Grandpappy Burns”. He knows the ins and outs of the Ramblers better than even the guys who started the group 11 years ago. He grew up in a nearby household located in Irondequoit, NY, which Neal helped found and settle. He currently lives in an apartment over the deli at which he works. On top of being an extra-low bass singer, Neal is a sandwich artist (ala Warhol and/or Rembrandt). He’ll make you a mean turkey sandwich (with extra mayo if you ask for it), while whistling your favorite song and telling you stories of when he fought in Nam and the Revolutionary War all at the same time. Neal has the heart of a child, but the brains and wits of an elder. But the real reason for which we love Neal is because he’s got those apple-bottom jeans, and the boots with the fur. click here to contact Neal
